Delta 8 THC, also know as tetrahydrocannabinol, is one of the 100+ cannabinoids in cannabis. It is an isomer of CBD and a derivative of hemp and CBD and is completely legal if the final product contains less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC. It  exists naturally in hemp and  the cannabis flower. It is similar to other cannabinoids, as in it interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system to create psychotropic effects. When concentrated, Delta 8 THC acts in the nervous system similarly to Delta 9 THC. All of our Delta 8 is hemp-derived and contains less than 0.3% of Delta 9 THC. 

According to the 2018 Farm Bill, since Delta 8 is a derivative of hemp it is legal if it contains less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC. Delta 8 is federally legal, however some states prohibit the sale of Delta 8. Those states are Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, montana, Rhode Island, and Utah.
